About Mirror Alchemy
I am Marlon Norby Høgli, Mirror Alchemy is my artist project. I am based in Norway, and born in 2001.
My music is mostly alt-rock, but I like to infuse it with some orchestral and/or brass vibes. But I don't really care about genre-specifics. I compose and produce what I feel will resonate best with the lyrics I write, to give the lyrics their most appropriate experience and journey. With each song I write I want to reach its respective feeling's most extreme corner, reaching the deepest depths of the how that feeling... feels.
So why "Mirror Alchemy"? To me, it's almost like a life philosophy. Becoming something better through introspection and reflection. And Mirror Alchemy is the best way I could find to turn that into something distinct and memorable through non-abstract words. The "tangible ideas" of mirrors and alchemy, combined to represent sort of a guideline to life that is otherwise just an abstract idea or thought.
